Sandi Whetzel's Art Featured at Seven Feathers Convention Center, Canyonville, OR: the South Douglas County Festival of Arts

Sandi Whetzel's contemporary art will be on exhibit at the Seven Feathers Casino Convention Center as part of the first ever South Douglas County Festival of Arts, October 16, from 9 am to 5 pm.  Admission to the event is free and in addition to fine art there will be wine tasting hosted by Delfino vineyards in the afternoon, live music by four different musical groups, live demonstrations, door prizes and free hands-on art activities for adults and children.  KPIC TV of Roseburg will be airing commercial advertisement of the festival on Wednesday, October 6 and one of my painting images will be shown.  How cool is that? There will be access to food at the entrance to the event, so you can plan to spend as much of the day as you like checking out everything at the festival.  Also in the building in a separate section will be Stampfest 2010 for stamp collectors and the Jefferson State Antique Bottle and Collectibles Show.  All events are free to the public. I am really looking forward to this lively event.  I've heard some of the music and it is easy on the ears.  I am also excited because I will have the first of my wine themed apparel available for sale.  I've received a lot of very positive feedback regarding the first image, "R.S.V.P.", (photo above).  I will have men's and women's polo style shirts, women's scooped neck with cap sleeves and a few spaghetti strapped tops for women.  All shirts will be solid black with the image of this very popular painting at the left side of the shirt from the shoulder down across the chest and will float against the black background of the shirt.  It has a very classy, elegant look for both men's and women's attire.  It is a very unique, one of a kind image.  You can be one of the first to wear one of these shirts and everyone will ask how they can get one.
